Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Sardaunan Gombe and the All Progressives Congress APC gubernatorial candidate in Gombe State has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebration, with a call on Ummah to intensify prayers for peace, Nigeria and its leaders.

In his Sallah message issued in Gombe on Wednesday, Gwamna called on Muslim Ummah to embody the virtues of peace, unity, piety, and good neighbourliness.

This was contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Sani shawai media aide to Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna made available to newsmen.

According to him, the season should be observed as a solemn moment for the faithful to reflect on the virtues of compassion, sacrifice and selflessness as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW.

“I urge all residents to use this occasion to pray for the peace of Gombe and Nigeria as well as the success of leaders at all levels.

“While we preach peace, love and unity, we must embrace these for the good of our dear state especially going into the 2027 general elections.”

Sardaunan Gombe also felicitated with Gov Inuwa Yahaya and his family, wishing them a blissful celebration. “May Allah guide you and grant your administration lasting success for the benefit of all Gombe citizens.”

Gwamna, while advising citizens to live in harmony, exhibit tolerance, and support one another by caring for the less privileged in the society, wished all faithful in Gombe State and beyond, “ a peaceful, hitch-free Sallah celebration marked with Allah’s mercy and blessings.”
