    EID-EL-KABIR: ZAMFARA FIRST LADY, HAJIYA HURIYYA DAUDA LAWAL, FELICITATES MUSLIM UMMAH, URGES VIGILANCE OVER CHILDREN, KINSHIP AND CHARITY TO THE NEEDY

    Her Excellency, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, First Lady of Zamfara State, extends her warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across Zamfara State and Nigeria on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

    It said reflecting on the profound spiritual significance of Eid-el-Kabir which symbolizes supreme sacrifice, obedience, love and compassion, Her Excellency urges Muslims to offer sincere prayers for lasting peace, unity and stability in Zamfara State and the nation at large. She prays that the blessings of this holy season bring joy, security and prosperity to every home.

    In a beautiful intersection of celebrations, the First Lady also congratulates children across the state as they mark this year’s Children’s Day. Describing children as the invaluable future leaders and ambassadors of our society, Her Excellency places a vital call on parents, guardians and communities to take absolute care of our children by closely monitoring their movements, peer associations and moral activities. She emphasizes that protecting our youth from negative societal influences requires active vigilance, intentional mentorship and a foundation rooted in good morals and sound education.

    To enrich the spirit of the season, Her Excellency strongly encourages families to use this festive period to strengthen biological and communal bonds by visiting relatives and fostering kinship. Furthermore, she reminds the faithful that true obedience to Allah is reflected in how we treat the vulnerable. She calls on those who are blessed to look around their neighborhoods and actively assist the needy, ensuring that the joy of Sallah touches the less privileged in our communities.

    Demonstrating this commitment to compassion, Her Excellency has distributed extensive Sallah welfare packages, including cows, rams, essential foodstuffs, and cash assistance to various Muslim religious organizations, vulnerable persons, foundations, and support groups across the state. Beneficiaries of this timely intervention include FOMWAN, MSO, NASFAT, female political support groups, youth associations and several humanitarian foundations, all aimed at easing the financial burden on families during this festive period.

    Reaffiming her commitment to initiatives that promote the well-being, protection, and empowerment of women, children, and vulnerable groups in Zamfara State, the First Lady prays for Allah’s continued guidance upon the state’s leadership and wishes everyone a peaceful, secure and joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
