Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago calls for renewed prayers for the peace and sustainable development of Niger State in particular and Nigeria in general.
In a message to mark the Eid-El-Maulud, through his chief press secretary Bologi Ibrahim, the Farmer Governor congratulates all Muslim Ummah.
He notes that Eid-El-Maulud celebration which is the celebration of the birth of prophet Mohammed (SAW), emphasised that the period is not only for celebration but also for deep reflection and supplication by all Muslims for a better society.
The Farmer Governor also urges the Muslim Ummah to emulate the virtues of humility, sacrifices, compassion, kindness, integrity, and justice, among others, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet.
He also enjoins them to uphold the significance of the celebration, noting that the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) brought about guidance and divine revelation of the Holy Quran to humanity.
The Farmer Governor reaffirms his commitment to sustaining the strides already recorded to achieve a prosperous state.
He further encourages muslim faithful to sustain their prayers for leaders at all levels to provide purposeful leadership.
