The Executive Chairman of the Katsina State Internal Revenue Service (KTIRS), Alh. Muhammad Isyaku, FCTI, FCNA, today flagged off the 2026 five-day Road Checking Exercise at Kofar Soro, Katsina.

It said the exercise is a commendable initiative of the Katsina State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, CON, PhD, aimed at enhancing security, promoting public safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant road-use regulations across the state.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by the Executive Director, Corporate Services, Hon. Murtala Muhammad Kankara, alongside other management and staff of KTIRS.
The five-day exercise will be conducted simultaneously across all parts of Katsina State as part of the government’s commitment to improving security and effective service delivery.
Meanwhile the katsina state ministry for budget and Economic planning has organised a three day capacity building training on digital data management and reporting.
The training is taking place at the NEARLS Suites and conference center,main campus ABU Zaria was declared open by the commissioner budget and Economic planning Malik Ana’s.
