Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has urged APC party members in the State to continue to rally round the government at all levels to bring about the desired growth and development of the State .
The farmer governor stated this when he met with the aspirants who contested and lost APC primary elections for Senate, House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly seats.
A statement signed by Bologi Ibrahim, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said the meeting was held at the Hauwa Wali Multipurpose hall, Government House Minna.
Farmer Umaru Bago who commended the aspirants for their understanding and patience urged them to remain unwavering support and dedicated to the party and contribute their quota to the development of the State.
He said, his administration is running an open door policy and will accommodate them in several key positions.
The farmer governor reiterated that he will continue to do his best in serving the people of Niger State through his unprecedented people oriented policies and called on all the aspirants to be part of history.
Farmer Umaru Bago used the medium to again reaffirm his commitment to completing all ongoing projects before the end of his tenure.
He also called on the people using social media platforms negatively to desist from spreading false information but should rather adhere to the provisions of the freedom of the information act signed into law in 2011 or face the wrath of the law .
In their separate remarks, the National Vice Chairman, North Central APC, Mu’azu Bawa, State APC Chairman, Musa Bobi appreciated the farmer governor for his exemplary leadership style that has taken the party to greater heights.
Representative of aspirants from the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives and the Senate in their remarks appreciated the reconciliatory role of the farmer governor and restated their commitment to the progressof the party.
