Niger State governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has paid Sallah homage on former Nigerian Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his uphill residence, Minna.
This was contained in a statement signed by Bologi Ibrahim, Chief press secretary to the Governor issued to newsmen.
It said the farmer governor who was in company of former Nigeria Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Alhaji Abubakar said he was at the residence of the General as he always does every Salah festivity to rejoice with him.
Farmer Umaru Bago thanked Gen. IBB for his continued support and wise counsel and reiterated that, he will always come to him for fatherly advice on best ways to move the State forward.
He prayed that Allah continues to give the General more strength and wisdom as he continues in his role as a respected elder statesman in the Country.
The farmer governor was accompanied by his deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Secretary to the State Government , Abubakar Usman and many other key government officials.
Farmer Umaru Bago and his entourage was also at his family residence in Minna in the spirit of the religious festival.
It was a joyous moment for the farmer governor who rejoiced with his extended family members and exchanged pleasantries.
Prayers were also offered for peace and unity of the family clan.
