The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Kaduna, has paid a condolence visit to the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency over the passing of two individuals associated with the Agency: the late Malam Aminu Sirajo Hayatu, Registration Officer for Igabi Local Government Area, and the late Malam Sale Jere, a dedicated volunteer and friend to the Agency.
A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the delegation was led by the Manager of Hassan Usman Katsina International Airport, Kaduna, Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Garba, who conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the management and staff of FAAN to the Executive Chairman, management, and staff of the Agency.
He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the deceased, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
During the visit, Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Garba urged the management of the Agency to continue patronising the Kaduna Airport for its official travels. He stated that the airport currently accomodating three commercial flights daily and disclosed that Kad-Air, the Kaduna State Government-owned commercial airline, is expected to commence operations soon, a development that will further enhance air transportation and connectivity in the state.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, expressed appreciation to the management of FAAN for the thoughtful condolence visit and their show of solidarity during the Agency’s moment of grief.
He thanked the delegation for their prayers and support and reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to sustaining its cordial working relationship with FAAN.
He also assured the delegation that the Agency would continue to patronise the Kaduna Airport for its official engagements whenever the need arises not and not only during Hajj operations..
