A former member of the Gombe State House of Assembly and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon. Muhammad A. Bello, earlier today, paid a visit to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to formally notify him of his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During the visit, Hon. Muhammad Bello, a former Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, pledged his unalloyed loyalty to Governor Inuwa Yahaya and the APC, describing the party as his political home and the Governor as his elder brother, mentor and political leader.
The former lawmaker also commended the emergence of Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna as the APC governorship candidate, alongside other candidates of the party, describing them as a formidable political team well-positioned for victory in the forthcoming elections.
He pledged to work for the success of the party and its candidates at all levels.
