The Funtua Unity foundations Chairman COMRD Mannir Mohd Sulaiman has describe the urgent provision of of fire service vehicles in funtua local government as paramount and very essential.
The Chairman disclosed this during a visit to the office of fire service units in funtua.
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman expressed serious concern over the level of dilapidation of both the working environment as well as the vehicles used in the job.
He explained that both state and local governments should reposition the mode of operation of the service,with a view to punctual and effective in the event of fire incident.
The Chairman pointed out that adequate staff, enough offices and regular maintenance for the vehicle should be on top priority of fire service units
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman said its sad to see that Funtua as an urban and densily populated area with no functional fire fighting equipments in case of any eventuality
He reminded all the relevant authorities that,they owed it a duty to ensure the safety of lives and properties of the people.
Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman expressed optimism that the Dr Dikko Umar radda PhD con led administration will do the needful for the protection of the general public.
