The Gombe State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has officially launched the Jamilu Renewed Hope Movement, a grassroots-driven political structure aimed at mobilising massive support across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This was contained in a statement signed by Ibrahim Sani shawai media aide to Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna APC Gombe State Gubernatorial candidate issued to newsmen.
Speaking during the inauguration held over the weekend, the State Coordinator of the Movement, Ibrahim Umar Babangida, described the initiative as a people-driven force committed to political victory and grassroots inclusion.
“This movement is built on loyalty, experience, and grassroots strength. Our goal is clear—to reach all the 2,988 polling units in Gombe State and ensure victory for Dr. Jamil Gwamna and all APC candidates” he said.
In his remarks, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) and commended the members for their steadfast support and historic role in his political journey.
“I remain deeply grateful to this organization; today’s gathering is a testament to your sacrifice and commitment to our shared vision for a better Gombe State,” he stated.
Dr. Gwamna reaffirmed his full support for the Movement and praised the calibre of grassroots politicians in attendance, urging them to work for the success of the APC from top to bottom.
“The strength of any political victory lies at the grassroots. Seeing this level of mobilisation and unity across all LGAs gives me great confidence that victory is not only possible but certain, Insha Allah.
“I assure you of my continued support as we work together to achieve our collective goal,” he added.
The meeting, which is the first of its kind since Gwamna secured the APC ticket, features delegates from wards, LGAs and State level.
