The Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has congratulated the party’s candidates for Local Government Chairmanship and Councillorship positions ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the media aide to the gubernatorial candidate, Ibrahim Sani shawai made available to newsmen.

Dr. Gwamna expressed delight over the successful completion of the screening process, describing it as a reflection of the strength, organization, and internal democracy of the APC in Gombe State.

He noted that the emergence of the candidates demonstrates the party’s commitment to giving competent, dedicated, and people-oriented individuals the opportunity to serve and drive sustainable development at the grassroots level.

The APC Guber Candidate also commended the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (CON), for his exemplary leadership and for ensuring a transparent and credible screening process, which has fostered unity and confidence within the party.

He further applauded the leadership and stakeholders of the APC in the state for conducting the exercise with maturity, fairness, and a strong sense of unity.

Dr. Gwamna, who doubled as the Sardauna of Gombe, urged all candidates to conduct their campaigns with decorum, integrity, and respect for the rule of law, while calling on the people of Gombe State to continue supporting the APC to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.

“Unity and the support of the people remain the pillars of success for any party committed to delivering meaningful development.”
