The Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN today led a high-powered delegation representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to Talata-Marafa, Zamfara state, to condole with Sen. Abdulazeez Yari, over the death of his aunt, Hajiya Rakiyya Jibrin.
A statement signed by Mal Mamman Mohammed, DG Press and Media Affairs To The Governor said Yari, who is also the Director General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 campaign committee, lost 85 year old Hajiya Rakkiya on Tuesday.
Gov. Buni prayed to Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her soul aljanatu Firdaus.
The Governor described Hajiya Rakkiya’s death as a sad loss “she died at a time when wise counselling is most needed, but that is her prescribed time, may Allah have mercy on her soul”.
He also prayed to Allah to grant the family, government and people of Zamfara State the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
On the delegation were the Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs and Other Matters, Alh. Ibrahim Masari and other top government functionaries.
