The Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, has commiserated with the Emir of Fika, the people and Fika Emirate council over the death of a senior councillor of the Emirate, the Makintan Fika, Alhaji Bukar Abubakar.
In a statement signed by Mamman Mohammed,DG Press and Media Affairs To The Governor said Gov. Buni described the death of the Makintan Fika, as a sad loss to his family, Fika Emirate council and Yobe state.
“It is a sad loss to the state. He was a seasoned administrator, an educationist, a man of peace, and a bridge builder whose wealth of experience had impacted positively on his community and the state. We would certainly miss his wise counseling ” the Governor said.
Gov. Buni prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, and to the family and Fika Emirate council, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“May the soul of the late Makintan Fika, Alh. Bukar Abubakar, rest in Aljannah Firdaus, Amin” Gov. Buni prayed.
