The Gombe state Gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has warmly congratulated His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, on the successful inauguration of the newly constituted State Executive Council and the swearing-in of key public officials, including the Head of Civil Service, Commissioners, Special Advisers, and Permanent Secretary.
In a statement he personally signed, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna said this important milestone reflects a deliberate commitment to strengthening governance, deepening institutional capacity, and accelerating service delivery across Gombe State.
He noted that the expansion of the Executive Council from 18 to 23 ministries, alongside the creation of critical portfolios such as the Ministry of Livestock Development and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, is both timely and strategic. It aligns with national priorities under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, while addressing the unique economic and social realities of our state.
The Gubernatorial candidate maintained that at this crucial stage being the final lap of the administration, our leader’s charge to the appointees is clear and commendable: to deliver measurable impact, uphold integrity, and place the people at the center of governance. Indeed, performance, not promises, remains the strongest currency in public service.
He particularly commend the emphasis on unity, peace, and the rejection of divisive politics. Gombe’s stability remains one of its greatest assets, and it must be protected by all.
“To the newly appointed officials, this is a call to duty, an opportunity to leave a legacy of excellence, innovation, and service. The expectations of the people are high, and rightly so” he said.
Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna maintainedv that Gombe State has made significant strides over the years, and it is my firm belief that with continued dedication, strategic leadership, and collective effort, even greater progress is achievable.
He therefore prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and grant wisdom to all those entrusted with this responsibility.
