    Gov Radda Joins Remi Tinubu, Governors for Commissioning of Buhari Estate and Medical Centre in Ogun

    Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has joined the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and other dignitaries in Ogun State for the commissioning of the 108-unit Muhammadu Buhari Estate at Kobape, Abeokuta.

    The commissioning was part of activities marking the First Lady’s official visit to Ogun State, which brought together government leaders, First Ladies and other stakeholders for the inauguration of key projects and programmes.

    The Muhammadu Buhari Estate, named after the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, comprises 108 housing units and was completed by the Ogun State Government under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

    Governor Radda also joined Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Governor Abiodun and other dignitaries for the commissioning of the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence, a 250-bed ultra-modern hospital in Abeokuta.

    The medical centre is designed to provide advanced healthcare services to residents of Ogun State and neighbouring communities, while expanding access to specialised medical care.

    The visit also featured the zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme at Makun, Sagamu, where food items were distributed to vulnerable and indigent residents as part of efforts to strengthen social intervention and support households in need.

    The activities provided an opportunity for governors, First Ladies and other leaders to strengthen collaboration in the areas of social welfare, housing, healthcare and community development.

    Among those in attendance were the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari; the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate; Senator representing Ogun East, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi); wives of governors; and other dignitaries.
