Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Monday morning paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Katsina-born singer, Muhammadu Buhari, popularly known as Kosan Waka, at his residence in Katsina.
The Governor was received by the Secretary of Gwagware Modern Singers, Ibrahim Suleiman Daniro, alongside members of the deceased’s family, community leaders, relatives, and sympathisers.
Governor Radda described the death of the renowned singer as a great loss to Katsina State and the entertainment industry, noting that his music promoted peace, unity, and the rich cultural heritage of the state.
He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
