Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has received the Wife of the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima, at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport, Katsina.
Hajiya Nana Shettima, who represented the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, was received by Governor Radda alongside the Deputy Governor, Hon. Faruk Lawal Jobe; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; and the Wife of the Governor, Her Excellency, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda.

Also present to welcome the Vice-President’s wife were the Wife of the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, other women leaders, and members of the Katsina State Executive Council.

The visit is for the donation of food items to vulnerable groups in Katsina State under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Social Investment Programme’s Food Outreach Scheme.

The programme is scheduled to take place today, at People’s Square, Government House, Katsina, as part of the initiative’s humanitarian interventions aimed at supporting vulnerable households.
The Renewed Hope Initiative, chaired by Senator Oluremi Tinubu, operates under the theme “Towards a Better Life for Families” and works with relevant partners, including the Katsina State Government and the Safe Space Humanitarian Initiative, to advance social support for vulnerable groups.
