    Governor Fintiri Congratulates Muslim Ummah On Maulud Nabbiyy, Urges Emulation Of Prophet Muhammad’s Virtues

    Adamawa State Governor Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, heartily congratulates the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa State, Nigeria, and across the world on the joyous occasion of Eid Maulud Nabiyy, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

    In a statement signed by by Humwashi Wonosikou Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said Governor Fintiri describes the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a moment of mercy, guidance, and light to humanity. He notes that the life and teachings of the Prophet remain a timeless model of peace, compassion, tolerance, honesty, humility, and selfless service to humanity.

    “As we celebrate Maulud, I urge all citizens of Adamawa State to reflect on the virtues that the Prophet stood for. Let us emulate his life of sacrifice, forgiveness, love for one another, and dedication to justice and fairness. These are the values that bind us together as one people and one nation,” the Governor said.

    He further called on Muslims and all residents of the State to use the occasion to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in Adamawa and Nigeria at large, especially as political activities towards 2027 begin.

    “Government is committed to providing leadership that guarantees security and welfare. I therefore urge citizens to support government policies and to shun acts capable of breaching the peace. Let us live together in harmony irrespective of our faith or background,”Governor Fintiri added.

    The Governor wished the Muslim faithful a peaceful and spiritually rewarding celebration and prayed that the blessings of Maulud bring renewed hope, progress, and development to Adamawa State.
