Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, earlier today, received a delegation of prominent political and community leaders from Gombe South Senatorial District who paid him a solidarity visit at the Government House, Gombe.
The delegation, comprising respected political figures, former public office holders and religious leaders, commended the governor for his sterling leadership, inclusive governance and remarkable developmental strides across Gombe State.
A statement signed by the DG press affairs Gombe State government house Ismaila Uba Misilli said among those in the delegation were former members of the House of Representatives, former Local Government Chairman and former Commissioner, Hon. Yusuf Manu Swa; former Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Gombe State, Rev. Abare Kallah; former CAN Chairman, Rev. Ibrahim Jodah; former CAN Chairman in Billiri LGA, Rev. Pandikungu Ishaya; former Chairman of Balanga Local Government Area, Hon. Bakari Keltuma; and former Commissioner, Hon. A. A. Kulani.
Speaking during the visit, the leaders expressed pride in the achievements recorded under Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s administration, noting that his leadership has brought unprecedented development, peace and political stability to the state.
They particularly applauded the governor’s role in promoting unity and consensus in the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the state, especially regarding the Balanga/Billiri Federal Constituency arrangement which produced Hon. Ali Isa JC as candidate.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya appreciated the delegation for the visit and stressed his administration’s commitment to equitable development, unity and good governance across all parts of Gombe State.
