Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has graced the Ash-Shifa Qur’anic recitation held as part of the Maulud celebration at the historic Great Juma’a Mosque of Muhammadu Dikko, Kofar Soro, Katsina.
The annual event witnessed the participation of Sheikh Malam Ibrahim Mai Ashafa Kano, the event featured Qur’anic recitation, prayers and other religious activities in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The ceremony brought together Islamic scholars, government officials and Muslim faithful, who offered prayers for continued peace, unity and prosperity in Katsina State, Nigeria and the Muslim Ummah.
Among those in attendance were the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Hon. Ishaq Shehu Dabai.
Also were, Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Development, Hon. Engr. Suraj Yazeed Abukur; Chief Imam of Katsina Central Mosque, Malam Gambo Mustapha; and other dignitaries.
