Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, today attended the funeral prayer of the late Hajiya Aisha Bishir Badaru Jikamshi, niece of former Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi.
The funeral prayer was held at the residence of the deceased in Katsina metropolis. She is survived by one daughter.
Following the funeral prayer, Governor Radda joined the funeral procession to Gidan Dawa Cemetery, where the remains of the deceased were laid to rest.
Governor Radda expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, describing the death as a painful loss.
“We pray that Almighty Allah forgives the deceased, grants her eternal rest, and gives her daughter, family and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this loss,” Governor Radda Said.
