Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, is currently attending the grand finale and prize presentation ceremony of the 1st Katsina State Students’ Week 2026, holding at the Abdullahi Mahadi Conference Centre, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
The four-day students’ week featured competitions and activities including fashion parade, sports, academic contests and cultural performances.
The programme brought together Katsina State students studying in institutions across Kaduna, Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as well as students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Kafur, and the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua.
Governor Radda is expected to present prizes to outstanding participants who distinguished themselves in the various competitions and activities during the students’ week.
The event is also being attended by government officials, education stakeholders, student leaders and representatives of Katsina State students from various institutions
