Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, warmly congratulates the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
A statement signed by Ibrahim kaula Mohammad, chief press secretary to the Governor, said Governor Radda, in a goodwill message to Governor Alia, described the milestone as a moment to celebrate a life given to service, sacrifice, and the welfare of the people of Benue State.
The Katsina Governor noted with admiration the visible strides that Governor Alia has recorded since assuming office, particularly in the area of infrastructure. Roads, bridges, public buildings, and other critical facilities are being built and rehabilitated across Benue State at a pace that speaks to a man on a mission.
Governor Radda also commended Governor Alia’s firm commitment to peace and unity in Benue State. “Governor Alia’s efforts at bringing warring communities together, restoring calm, and make Benue safe for all its people are well noted and deeply respected,” Radda stated.
On human development, Governor Radda observed that Governor Alia has shown a clear understanding that no society can grow beyond the quality of its people. His investments in education, health, and the welfare of ordinary Benue citizens reflect the heart of a leader who governs for results.
The Governor, on behalf of the government and the people of Katsina State, felicitates with Rev. Fr. Alia. He pray God should grant him good health, long life and the strength to complete all that he has set out to do for the people of Benue State.
