    Governor Radda Extols Officers Sacrifice, Commitment to Security on National Police Day

    Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has joined Nigerians in celebrating the 2026 National Police Day.

    A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Ibrahim kaula Mohammad said the Governor used the occasion to recognize the relentless sacrifice and dedication of officers of the Nigerian Police Force.

    “Today, we celebrate those who put on the uniform and risk their lives to keep us safe. Our police officers deserve our gratitude and respect,” said Governor Radda

    The Governor emphasized the critical role police play in protecting lives and properties across the nation. He acknowledged the exceptional contributions of police in ensuring security of lives and properties in Katsina and other part of the country.

    Governor Radda noted that the police force has been instrumental in Katsina’s security efforts. He commended the commitment and bravery of officers working to combat rising violence and criminal activities across the state.

    He called on all residents to cooperate with security agencies and provide information that can help combat crime and insecurity. He urged communities to work closely with police to strengthen security at the grassroots level

    Governor Radda also pledged continued government support for the police force in Katsina State. He promised to ensure that officers have the resources and equipment they need to perform their duties effectively.

    “Our administration is committed to providing whatever support the police need. Better equipment, better training, and better welfare for officers—these are our priorities,” the Governor assured.

    On National Police Day, Governor Radda extended his heartfelt gratitude to all police officers in Katsina State. He prayed for their safety and continued success in their operations.
