Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed appreciation over the peaceful and seamless adoption of Hon. Abubakar Kabiru Abubakar as the sole candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Bichi Federal constituency in 2027 general elections.
Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed the appreciation while delivering his address during the affirmation of Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar by political stakeholders from eleven wards of Bichi local government that was held at Hagagawa Football Pitch in Bichi.

Governor Yusuf described the development as a clear demonstration of unity, mutual understanding, and political maturity among party stakeholders and aspirants in the constituency.
The Governor commended all party leaders, elders, and aspirants for placing the interest of the party and the people above personal ambitions, noting that such collective commitment would further strengthen the APC and enhance its chances of winning the election.
Governor Yusuf also hailed Hon. Abba Bichi for his outstanding contributions toward grassroots development and the execution of impactful constituency projects aimed at improving the lives of the people.
He noted that the lawmaker has continued to provide quality representation through various developmental initiatives, empowerment programmes, and infrastructural projects across his constituency.
” I must at this point reaffirmed my administration’s commitment to support leaders who remain dedicated to the welfare of the people and sustainable development”, the governor stated.
He further urged party supporters and stakeholders to remain united and continue working together for the progress of the APC and the overall development of Kano State.
The Special Adviser to President on Political Matters, Hon. Kabiru Masari who represented the President described Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar as a courageous and outstanding leader who continues to uphold the dignity of the people of his constituency through quality and effective representation.
In his response, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and other stakeholders who supported his re-election bid for the second term.
He pledged to continue initiating and supporting developmental projects that will further enhance the growth and progress of his constituency, Kano State, and the country at large.
