In a renewed efforts to boasts healthcare delivery, the Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr.Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga), served as Chairman of the Occasion at the official flag-off ceremony for the Drug Distribution and Medical Outreach Programme to primary healthcare facilities across the 13 wards of Zaria Local Government.
A statement signed by Abdullahi Abubakar lawal SA New Media to the chairman said the initiative, organized by the Uba Sani 2Wice Movement, took place at the Conference Hall of the Zaria Local Government Secretariat and is aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery at the grassroots level.
Following this, the Chairman joined Muslim faithful for the Jumu’ah prayer at Baba Trader Jummat Mosque in Tudun Wada, reinforcing his connection with the community and spiritual values.
After the prayers, Engr. Jaga had the honor of witnessing the wedding Fatiha of Abdulhamid Abdulkadir (Daddy) and Hafsat Muhammad. We pray that Almighty Allah blesses their union with peace, love, and prosperity.
He proceeded to Kofar Doka, where he also attended the wedding ceremony of Zarah Aliyu Garba Kofa (daughter of Alhaji Aliyu Garba Kofa) and Muhammad Bashir Garba at the Garba Kofa Residence, further demonstrating his solidarity with families and constituents during their joyous moments.
Continuing his engagements, the Chairman moved to GRA, Zaria, for a Stakeholders’ Meeting, where critical discussions were held on matters relating to governance, development, and community advancement.
The day was rounded off with his attendance at the Law Week Dinner organized by the Nigerian Bar Association, Zaria Branch. At the event, Engr. Jaga delivered a goodwill message alongside His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, highlighting the importance of justice, rule of law, and collaborative governance in societal development.
