What is going on in the name of negative political propaganda and character damage is badly exceeding limits and must be stopped to save the image of our political empire.
Presently we have relevant laws and authorities that must put a stop to the damaging trend but the coming of free social Media syndrome is making the situation very difficult to control.
There are differences between the negative propaganda character damaging trend in the 1st, 2nd and present republics, youths have aligned with hardened politicians guiding them against the accepted tradition of the society.
Let us review PRP and NPN periods after division PRP youth joined Late Abubakar Rimi with hardened behavior, a father supporting Late Aminu Kano, his Son supporting Late Rimi all politically moving against each other.
Unrefined Political character assassination against the opposition was so extreme from the youths circles rendering no little respect to Seniors contrary to the original societal principles.
The Rimi era was better than what is happening now between the Youths and Seniors without Elders to stand for correction. Even religious intellectuals are not exempted, rendering the political system to vulnerable situations taking into consideration some misguided political leaders.
It is not responsible to be accusing Radio Stations that are operating within broadcasting laws unlike Social Media calculations everybody can talk from his Bedroom and transmit to the world.
Political enlightenment programmes started with independent Radio Stations in Kano all within law regulations with strict control of the relevant authorities.
Radio Stations are working with professional editors within restrictions with monitoring and control of NBC, the disturbing character damage that is happening now can never be transmitted on Radio stations.
Kano, a very highly respected society, should not continue along this line; it must be controlled by the authorities like Media Control agencies and Hisbah Board. We should not wait to damage our refutation due irrelevant political misunderstanding.
It is high time for our authorities to act decisively to restore law and order in Social Media negative information transformation against the vital societal principles.
