The Kaduna State Governorship aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhaji Ibrahim Husaini Abdulkarim, popularly known as (Malam Zitar), has said that God willing, he will ensure unity and love for one another in Kaduna State if he becomes Governor.

Ibrahim Husaini, who is contesting for the Kaduna State governorship under the NDC, made this known while speaking to newsmen at the party’s first maiden meeting in Kaduna.

Ibrahim Husaini Abdulkarim, popularly known as Malam Zitar, said it was time for those who have been known to damage the good relationship between the people of Kaduna State to step down so that the youth can mend the problems between the people and everyone can benefit from the wealth and all the blessings that God has bestowed on Kaduna State.

Malam Zitar expressed his satisfaction with the way the NDC party is gaining acceptance in all constituencies of the state. Even at the party’s convention held at the Asaa Hotel in Kaduna, everyone witnessed the party members coming from the Constituencies, Local Government and State levels, which was a great achievement and a source of joy.

“Then, the party leaders at all levels from the Constituencies, Local Government Areas and the State, along with the State and Federal House of Assembly candidates, all came to the meeting and were working together without any differences

“And this NDC party is the party that is the fastest to be accepted and developed at the moment, because in three months, no other party is being talked about in Nigeria like the NDC”, he said.

The NDC is being talked about because of the brave people we have in the party like Kwankwaso and Peter Obi, everyone knows his purpose and what he wants to bring to Nigeria. And his running mate, Senator Kwankwaso, everyone knows him in the north, is a man who wants to bring help and assistance to the poor and the marginalized in the country, that is why we believe that this is a journey of the youth and with the help of God, we will achieve it

Responding to those who say that the party has taken a contract from somewhere, Malam Zitar, told reporters that there are at least eight months left, so if there is an election and the people who are talking about the contract, will be seen. Whether it is a contract or not, that is when people voted them out of power.

“Because this is the kind of thing that people who are paid to do this kind of political propaganda are called the Igbo party or any other religion that is assigned to the cause. Anyone who brings ethnicity and religion into politics has nothing to explain, nothing to show the general public, and he has to take something that the people are using to distract them from what they should know or do for their development.

“He said that in this era of the internet, if you as a person ask a question, who gave the Northerners the ID card in his state, he will give it to whoever asked the internet, he will show you who gave it and the date it was given and what was done. People should not just be somewhere and listen to Facebook and TikTok, because the internet that has been made available to the public in their hands is their opportunity.

That is why,” we tell the public to be careful of anyone who has nothing to tell you or has done for you to progress, but only tells you the North, the North, the North, then ask him what the Northern leaders did to the North when they got the presidency of Nigeria? Don’t let him use his ethnicity or religion, all you are looking for is a just leader who will help the country develop and ensure that there are good hospitals, electricity, good drinking water and security so that people can return to farming and so on.

Here in Kaduna, the main thing we are trying to do with the people I am with is to make life more useful and the death of one Kaduna citizen is the most pressing need in Kaduna. That is why I want Kaduna to return to the way it was before, Christians and Muslims living together without hatred or discrimination as was the case in the past. Everyone knows the beauty of Kaduna.
