Prominent stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress(APC),Dr Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso,has congratulated the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday anniversary, describing the occasion as “a blessing and good tidings for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Illiyasu Kwankwaso,who is the Executive Director Finance Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development(HJRBDA), made the remarks in a statement he personally signed and released on the occasion of the First Lady’s birthday anniversary.
He described Mrs Tinubu as a patriotic Nigerian whose remarkable contributions to national development, democratic governance, and the advancement of Nigerians have made significant and enduring legacy in the country.
According to him, the First Lady has continued to make meaningful contributions in addressing some of the challenges confronting the nation.
“You can see that Her Excellency, the First Lady,is always in the vanguard of arriving at places of need, celebration, or even sadness, it clearly shows her concerns and belief in Nigerians,” he said.
Kwankwaso also noted that Mrs Tinubu’s commitment to nation-building, however, predates her role as First Lady, pointing out that,”As First Lady of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, she established the New Era Foundation and used the platform to positively impact the lives of women, children, and young people across the state.”
“And just recently,her Excellency, the First Lady,donated a huge sum of N20 million to the Winner of Quranic recitation, showing her non-religious bigotry and believing in one Nigeria.
“We at this juncture congratulate Her Excellency on her Birthday and promise her that together we are going to ensure our Father, her amiable Husband President Tinubu’s second coming to office,” the APC bigwig promised.
