The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad Jaga, has commended the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, GCON, for facilitating the 17th Renewed Hope Empowerment Programme, which provided modern equipment to over 3,000 beneficiaries across Zaria Federal Constituency.

Speaking as Chief Host at the programme, Chairman Jaga described the initiative as a practical demonstration of people-centred leadership, noting that the distribution of industrial sewing machines, deep freezers, mechanical toolboxes, diagnostic equipment, vulcanising machines, car wash machines, and welding equipment would strengthen businesses, enhance productivity, and promote economic self-reliance.
He urged the beneficiaries to use the equipment responsibly, expand their businesses, and improve their livelihoods, emphasising that “government can create opportunities and provide support, but the responsibility to maximise those opportunities rests with the beneficiaries themselves.”

Jaga expressed appreciation to Speaker Abbas Tajudeen for his continued commitment to the development of Zaria Federal Constituency, while acknowledging the support and collaboration of the Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, CON, and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, through the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He noted that effective collaboration between the Federal Government, the National Assembly, and the Kaduna State Government remains essential to delivering meaningful development and economic opportunities to the people.
