It was another fulfilling day of service and community engagement for the Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government Council, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad (Jaga).
A statement signed by Galadima Ishaq chief press secretary office of the Chairman said the Chairman attended the Wedding Fatiha of the children of Dr. Danjuma Adam, Rector, College of Aviation, Ismail Adam Ismaila and Dr. Ahmad Adam Ismaila at the Emir’s Palace, Zaria.
He also had the honour of serving as Waliyyi at the Wedding Fatiha of Maryam, daughter of Alhaji Nasir Mai Kayan Wuta, and her husband, Suleiman, at Gidan Mai Anguwa, Hayin Dogo, Wusasa, Kufena Ward.
Thereafter, he attended the Wedding Fatiha of Jamilu Suleiman Jamilu Sulaiman Bizara and his beloved wife, Umma Abubakar, at Masallacin Tarasu, Tudun Jukun, Tukur-Tukur Ward.
Chairman Jaga prayed for Allah (SWT) to bless all the newly married couples with love, mercy, barakah, lasting peace, and righteous offspring. Ameen.
As part of his commitment to monitoring development projects, the Chairman led a team of consulting engineers on an inspection of sites designated for the installation of solar-powered mini grids, inverters, batteries, and solar panels across key educational institutions in Zaria.
The inspection covered Zaria Education City, where solar power systems will be installed at the Federal College of Education, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), College of Nursing Sciences, and the Women Development Centre.
The team also inspected ongoing projects at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic UPE, including the proposed Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary, the Centre for Management Development, the Sports Academy, as well as the proposed International Grain Market in Dambo.
These landmark projects are being facilitated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, Iyan Zazzau, whose commitment to educational and infrastructural development continues to bring meaningful progress to Zaria Federal Constituency.
Later in the evening, Chairman Jaga visited patients at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, including Alhaji Abubakar Garba Sule (Yariman Tukur-Tukur), the mothers of Aliyu Bako, Sani Babajo and Aliyu Lapai, the son of Sheikh Rabiu Ganganfa, and several other patients receiving treatment.
He prayed for Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant them complete healing, renewed strength, and a speedy recovery.
