Following the tragic loss of lives and abduction of residents in Kahir Community, Kagarko LGA, the Kaduna State Government has intensified immediate response efforts and direct engagement with the affected community.
The Honourable Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Sule Shu’aibu SAN, representing His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, visited the community alongside the Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Rabiu, and other senior security officials. The visit enabled firsthand assessment, interaction with grieving families, and discussions on practical steps to strengthen security and prevent further incidents.
The delegation expressed deep condolences to victims and their families, reaffirming the government’s solidarity in this difficult time. Concrete actions are already underway, including enhanced security presence, coordinated operations to track down perpetrators, and sustained efforts to secure the safe return of abducted persons. The government remains resolute in ensuring justice is served.
Residents were also urged to remain vigilant and support security agencies with timely and credible information.
