The Kaduna State Government has officially handed over newly constructed and rehabilitated classroom blocks to beneficiary communities in Giwa and Zaria Local Government Areas.
The projects, which include new classrooms, office spaces, and rehabilitated facilities at UBE Mairafi Primary School, reflect the government’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment and expanding access to quality basic education across the state.
Speaking during the handover, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (KADSUBEB), Mubarak Mohammed, represented by the Permanent Member, Project Management, Engr. Ahmad Yahya Lere, called on the benefiting communities to take ownership of the facilities and ensure their proper maintenance for future generations.
In response, the beneficiary communities pledged to safeguard the infrastructure and support initiatives aimed at improving school enrolment, attendance, and retention among pupils.
