The Kaduna State Ministry of Information has conducted a capacity building training for staff across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), aimed at enhancing effective communication and public information management.

Declaring the training open, the Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, who was represented by the Director of New Media, Partnership, and Research, Elizabeth Lami Anche, urged participants to take full advantage of the initiative to strengthen their professional competencies. She emphasized the importance of improving skills in information dissemination to ensure accurate and timely communication of government policies to the public.
Anche noted that the training aligns with the core mandate of the ministry to keep citizens well informed about government activities, policies, and achievements. She added that effective communication remains critical in bridging the gap between the government and the people.
The programme, she explained, is part of ongoing efforts to deepen transparency and promote public engagement under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, whose administration continues to prioritize responsive governance and strategic informationflow.
