The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has continued its sensitisation campaign on the ongoing registration for the 2027 Hajj with a visit to the Lere and Saminaka Emirates in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the Executive Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, alongside members of the Agency’s management, visited the two Emirates to sensitise intending pilgrims and other stakeholders on the 2027 Hajj registration process.

Speaking during the sensitisation, the Executive Chairman urged intending pilgrims to deposit the minimum initial payment of ₦4 million and ensure that they submit their valid international passports to the Agency before the 26 September 2026 registration deadline.

The Chairman emphasised the importance of completing the registration requirements within the stipulated period to avoid missing the opportunity to participate in the 2027 Hajj exercise.

The Emir of Lere, Engr. Suleiman Umaru, and the Emir of Saminaka, Alhaji Musa Sani Ibrahim, appreciated the Agency’s management for taking the sensitisation campaign to their respective Emirates. They also commended the Agency for its efforts to enlighten intending pilgrims and stakeholders on the requirements and procedures for the 2027 Hajj registration.

The Agency therefore urges all intending pilgrims to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise and complete all necessary requirements before the deadline.
