The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has commenced the transportation of pilgrims’ luggage to Jeddah International Airport ahead of the state’s first return flight scheduled for Tuesday, 16 June 2026.
A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the flight is expected to depart in the early hours of Tuesday at 5:00 a.m., conveying 345 pilgrims back to Nigeria after the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.
It said the exercise is aimed at ensuring a smooth and timely departure process for pilgrims, as well as facilitating efficient baggage handling and airport clearance procedures.
The agency has also advised pilgrims to comply with baggage regulations and prescribed weight limits to avoid delays during the return airlift operation.
