The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has held its Annual General Meeting with members of staff to review the performance of the recently concluded 2026 Hajj operations and commence preparations for the 2027 Hajj exercise.
A statement signed by Ibrahim Datti public relations officer of the board said the meeting was held at the Senator Uba Sani Reception Hall, Hajj Transit Camp, Mando, Kaduna, and was presided over by the Executive Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman commended members of staff for their dedication, commitment, and professionalism, which contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the 2026 Hajj exercise. He urged them to build on the successes recorded while addressing the challenges identified in preparation for the 2027 Hajj operations.
The meeting focused on assessing the Agency’s overall performance during the 2026 Hajj exercise by reviewing the achievements recorded, identifying the challenges encountered, and discussing practical strategies for improving future Hajj operations.
Staff members from various departments made presentations and offered valuable observations and recommendations aimed at enhancing service delivery to intending pilgrims.
The management of the Agency emphasized the importance of teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and early planning in consolidating the successes recorded during the 2026 Hajj exercise and ensuring a more efficient, seamless, and hitch-free 2027 Hajj operation.
The Annual General Meeting reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to continuous improvement and its resolve to provide quality services to pilgrims from Kaduna State in line with its statutory mandate.
