As part of efforts to ensure thorough preparation and guidance for intending pilgrims, the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, in collaboration with the State Special Hajj Committee, has conducted an extensive management visitation across the three senatorial zones of Kaduna State.

A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the exercise forms part of the agency’s ongoing pilgrims’ enlightenment and awareness campaign for the 2026 Hajj, now in its 17th week.

The visitation was strategically organized to engage directly with intending pilgrims at the grassroots level, providing them with vital information on Hajj rites, expectations, and responsibilities. The Northern Zone session was held at the Sabon Gari Local Government Secretariat, the Central Zone engagement took place at the Kinkinau Qur’anic Competition Centre in Kaduna South, while the Southern Zone meeting was conducted at the Kachia Local Government Secretariat.

Addressing participants during the engagements, the Executive Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, congratulated all prospective pilgrims who successfully secured VISA’s for the 2026 Hajj exercise.

He emphasized the importance of adequate spiritual, moral, and physical preparation, urging pilgrims to remain law-abiding, disciplined, and patient throughout the pilgrimage.

He further reminded them that the Hajj is not only a religious obligation but also a platform where they serve as ambassadors of Kaduna State and Nigeria, stressing the need to uphold the values of humility, unity, and respect for constituted authorities while in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Malam Abubakar also highlighted the agency’s commitment to ensuring that all necessary logistics, orientation programs, and welfare arrangements are put in place ahead of the pilgrimage. He reassured pilgrims that the agency, in partnership with relevant stakeholders, is working diligently to deliver a seamless and spiritually rewarding Hajj experience.

The Executive Chairman expressed sincere appreciation to the Governor of Kaduna State for his consistent support, strategic guidance, and commitment to the welfare of pilgrims. He noted that the successes recorded in the ongoing sensitization campaign are largely due to the enabling environment and backing provided by the state government.

Members of the State Special Hajj Committee, alongside the management and staff of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, participated actively in the visitation, offering guidance, answering questions, and reinforcing key messages to intending pilgrims.

The agency reiterates its resolve to sustain the enlightenment campaign across all parts of the state, ensuring that every intending pilgrim is adequately informed and prepared for the sacred journey.

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency remains committed to excellence in service delivery and to facilitating a smooth, safe, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj for all pilgrims from the state.
