Kano State Government has pledged to continue to give priority attention to issues of education, with a view to fast track the development of the state.
The state education sector reform being initiated by the present regime in the state has started yielding the desired results.
In line with this,this afternoon at the House of Lords, Westminster, United Kingdom after a global round table discussion on the English reading revolution.
Kano has taken a centre stage in education reform with exceptional performance and adoptability of new reading techniques.
The event is hosted by Universal Learning Solutions under the Jolly Phonics Programme led by Gary Foxcroft.
Sir. Nick Gibb, the former Minister of Schools of the United Kingdom and Lord Alton of Liverpool addressed the gathering on how England was able to transform reading as a major learning benchmark.
Kano delegation to this important gathering include Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, DG media and publicity, along with Dr. Haladu Mohammed and Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Auwalu .
It’s hoped that after the gathering,the team will return back to the country full of new ideas and techniques to further improve the quality of education in the state
