* Governor Radda’s Administration is Working Tirelessly to Keep Katsina State Safe – Commissioner
A statement signed by the state commissioner ministry of internal security and home affairs,Dr Nasir Mu’azu said Katsina State Government wishes to commend the Katsina State Police Command for the successful arrest of members of a notorious kidnapping syndicate in Katsina metropolis.
The Government praise the professionalism and swift response of the operatives of the newly established Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU) under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Ali Umar Fage, following intelligence-led operations that lead the arrest and recovery of exhibits linked to the kidnapping of an 8-year-old boy on the 13th May, 2026 while returning from an Islamic school in Sardauna Housing Estates by the syndicate under one Nura Aliyu popular known as Nura Garwa.
This breakthrough further demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the administration of Dikko Umaru Radda towards strengthening security across Katsina State through strategic collaboration with security agencies.
The government of Malam Dikko Umaru Radda is working tirelessly in collaboration with security agencies to keep Katsina State safe and secure for all. We will continue to provide the necessary support and enabling environment for security operatives to effectively discharge their duties.
