The final batch of Kaduna State pilgrims today, Friday, 22nd May 2026, departed the holy city of Madina for Makka to continue their spiritual journey for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage after successfully completing their visitations and religious activities in the blessed city of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the pilgrims left Madina in high spirits after offering Juma’at prayers at Masjid Al-Nabawi and visiting notable Islamic historical sites such as Masjid Quba, Jannatul Baqi, Mount Uhud, and other sacred locations of great significance in Islamic history.
The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency ensured a smooth and well coordinated movement of the pilgrims by providing adequate guidance, transportation, and welfare services throughout their stay in Madina.
The pilgrims expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State Government and officials of the agency for their tireless efforts, care, and support, which contributed to a successful and comfortable stay in the holy city.
With the departure of the final batch, all Kaduna State pilgrims are now in Makka to join other contingents ahead of the commencement of the main Hajj rites.
