A newly constructed Juma’at Mosque built by His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, has been commissioned by the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni.
A statement from the media office, office of the special adviser to the President on political and other matters said the mosque, located in Nabanje, Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State, reflects Alhaji Masari’s continued commitment to promoting religious development, community cohesion, and social harmony.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Buni commended Alhaji Masari for the initiative, describing it as a meaningful contribution to the spiritual and moral development of the community. He emphasized the importance of such projects in fostering unity, peace, and shared values among the people.
In his remarks, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari expressed appreciation to Governor Buni for commissioning the mosque and reiterated his commitment to initiatives that positively impact society. He urged the community to make effective use of the mosque as a center for worship, learning, and unity.
The event was attended by members of the State and National Assembly, as well as prominent Islamic scholars and leaders of JIBWIS, including Sheikh Bala Lau and Sheikh Kabir Gombe, alongside other community leaders and stakeholders. Prayers were offered for continued peace, stability, and prosperity in Katsina State and Nigeria.
