The Zamfara State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure has deployed a team of technical engineers Under the Director Civil, Engr. Tsalha Mayana to conduct an assessment of road conditions in and around the Federal College of Education (Technical) Gusau (FCET) and the Federal University Gusau (FUG), as part of ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure across the state.
A statement signed by Jamilu Bello, public relations officer of the ministry said the assessment exercise is aimed at evaluating the condition of roads within the affected areas, identifying sections requiring urgent intervention, and providing technical recommendations to guide possible rehabilitation and construction works.
The team of engineers is also expected to assess adjoining access roads and boundary areas to determine the scope of infrastructural improvements needed to enhance accessibility and ease movement for students, staff, and surrounding communities.
In another development, the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure headed by the Director Civil, Engr. Tsalha Mayana deployed another team of engineers to carry out boundary assessment between FCET Gusau and Pride FM. The exercise is aimed at determining the exact boundary alignment and evaluating the extent of work required for possible infrastructural intervention in the area.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the administration of Dauda Lawal towards strengthening infrastructure development and improving road networks in key institutions across the state.
