    NAHCON PRESENTS NEW SAUDI HAJJ POLICIES TO KADUNA GOVERNMENT

    The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has presented the new policies introduced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2027 Hajj operation to the Kaduna State Government, with the state assuring the Commission of full compliance.

    A statement signed by Ibrahim Datti Public Relations Officer Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency said the NAHCON delegation, led by the National Commissioner representing the North-West Zone, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Usman, paid an official visit to the Kaduna State Government House on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.

    The delegation and the management of the agency was led to the Government House by the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar.

    Receiving the delegation on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Malam Sani Liman Kila, welcomed the NAHCON team and expressed the state government’s readiness to work closely with the Commission.

    Speaking during the visit, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Usman formally presented the new Saudi Hajj policies to the Kaduna State Government and urged the state to ensure their effective implementation ahead of the 2027 Hajj operation.

    The Commissioner stressed the importance of strict compliance with the new policies, noting that adherence would contribute to the smooth coordination of the Hajj operation and enhance the welfare and overall experience of Nigerian pilgrims.

    Responding, the Chief of Staff assured the NAHCON delegation that the Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani would ensure full implementation of the new Saudi Hajj policies.

    He reaffirmed the commitment of the state government to supporting measures aimed at improving Hajj administration and ensuring the safety, comfort and welfare of Kaduna State pilgrims.

    The visit further strengthened the collaboration between NAHCON, the Kaduna State Government and the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency in preparation for the 2027 Hajj operation.
