The newly elected executives of the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), Kaduna/Zaria Branch, on Monday, July 13, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, and commended the Institute for its support in the past, particularly its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion programme.
This was contained in a statement from the Press and Public Relations Unit (PPRU), NITT issued to newsmen.
Receiving the delegation, the Director-General/Chief Executive, NITT, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to supporting the road transport sector through research, training, and CNG initiatives, urging NARTO members to take full advantage of NITT’s programmes.
Earlier, the NARTO Kaduna State Coordinator, Alh. Auwal Umaru (7Up), expressed appreciation to the Institute for converting some of its members’ vehicles to CNG, while appealing for additional CNG conversions and expanded collaborations.
