The Director of the Transport Technology Centre (TTC), Dr. Joshua Odeleye, has welcomed and congratulated newly admitted ND 1 students during the Centre’s orientation programme held earlier today.
Dr. Odeleye who represented the DG/CE, NITT, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah, urged the new students to take their studies seriously, attend lectures regularly, and avoid any behaviour that could hinder their academic progress.
A statement from the Press and public relations unit of the institute said the Director further disclosed that most TTC programmes are practical-based, requiring focus and care due to the use of heavy and sophisticated equipment.
Staff and course coordinators also addressed the students on key areas, including registration, attendance, examinations, practicals, and counselling.
The orientation exercise was held for ND1 students in Shipping Port Engineering, Transport and Logistics Management, Auto Body Technology, as well as HND students in Project Management, Transport Technology, and NID Shipping Management.
