The Northern Comrades Movement in Nigeria (NCMN) led by Malam Jabir Ibrahim Yaro, popularly known as Mallam Jabir, has complained about the killing of civilians and even the security personnel in the Northern region of the country.

The group made this known at a press conference in Kaduna where they confirmed their grievances over the many problems plaguing the country, the most serious of which is the killing of civilians for no reason in urban and rural areas across Nigeria.

The group read out to newsmen a document they issued in which they complained about the killing of people and the prevention of farmers from farming until they pay huge sums of money, despite this, they have not been given the right to do so, namely not being allowed to farm, nor to harvest their crops, and even then they have to pay

They also complained about the killing of security personnel in northern Nigeria.

“Anyone who has known us for the past ten years knows how the group has been trying to protect the rights, dignity and dignity of people by speaking to the government and doing what is right for the people.

The group also said that it is educating the public about issues related to politics so that they know that politics is not a matter of ethnicity because all the things seen in politics affect the entire life of the community and the group supports the weak from time to time,” said President Jabir.

He further emphasized the reasons why the group called the press conference in Kaduna, saying that this was due to the problem of killings in Nigeria because the problem has not only spread to the North West, North East or North Central but has spread to the entire country.

“That is why as young people who believe we have time left to live in this country, we should not remain silent because it is an issue that will consume us all, therefore, at this time, even those who are security officers who are working to protect the health and property of the people are not spared. That is why we believe that those who God has entrusted with the responsibility of solving this problem have failed to do what they should do to solve the problem, despite the kidnapping of people and the rape of women, the problem has not been solved, so we say that we do not agree, as citizens, we must speak to the leaders to stand up and solve the problem that people of the country are suffering for.

“We call on you, that is the leaders, to come out and fix the country, we are tired of this problem because when it comes to the truth, we know where to go to see those who are committing this massacre of the people of the country, we know where to be satisfied.

“Many experts, including ourselves, have sat down to discuss this problem, and many security experts have conducted research to explain the origins of the problem and how to solve it, but everything that has been done has been refused to be acted upon, let alone we are waiting for a comprehensive solution to the problem”, the group said.

“We held a meeting on leadership and security and we presented all the issues we discussed to those responsible for it but still nothing has been done, no progress has been made that the people will say hello to, so we are tired of this problem, all they are after is to share rice to the poor people among us, which is not the solution”.

“As a youth and a group, we say that this security problem must be brought to an end because now in Nigeria, a goat is more important than a human life because a goat has more guarantee than a human.

We used this opportunity to talk to our young brothers and sisters about politics, that young people should stop politics because of religion or ethnicity and stop politics because of something to be gained, we want politics to be done only because a person is qualified and urge them to stop allowing themselves to be used to divide people and other things that young people should not be involved in.
