The Kano State Pilgrims have been receiving utmost medical attention in the Holy land, working around the clock to ensure those who fell sick get treatment.
Clinics are being established at various Hotels by the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, to give adequate medical attention and medical supplies.
This was contained in a press release issued by Mustapha Muhammad, the Head of the Kano State Media Team Hajj 2026.
A visit to some of the clinics showed a medical team busy attending to pilgrims with various illnesses, largely fever, joint pains, and BP patients.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board had adequate medical supplies and were being given free to any pilgrim who fell sick.
Dr Ashiru Muhammad Sumaila, who led a clinic at House No 5 briefed journalists on the efforts of the government to cater for the health of every pilgrim.
“ We are working around the clock, and we can take a patient to any advanced hospital if need be, for referral,” Dr Ashiru Muhammad has said.
The Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has promised to give pilgrims maximum attention especially on health as wise saying that health is wealth.
