…Tinubu Polls 450,517 Votes, as Opponent Records Zero

The All Progressives Congress of Gombe State has once again demonstrated its unshakable loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party, delivering a resounding 100 per cent victory for the President in the party’s presidential primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, declared that Gombe remains a solid APC stronghold and is fully prepared to deliver Tinubu and all APC candidates seeking elective offices to overwhelming victory in the forthcoming elections.

A statement signed by Ismaila Uba Misilli DG press affairs Gombe State government house said the Governor made the declaration shortly after collating the APC presidential primary election results from the eleven local government areas of the state.

Addressing party faithful and stakeholders at the APC collation centre, Governor Inuwa Yahaya commended the massive participation of APC members across the state, describing the exercise as peaceful, transparent and a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence in the APC administration.

“As you can see, in my capacity as the APC Presidential Primary Collation Officer and President Bola Tinubu’s coordinator for Gombe State, I have successfully collated the results from all the eleven local government areas where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mr Stanley Osifo contested for the presidential ticket,” the Governor stated.

“Gombe State has a total of 550,516 registered APC members. After collating and summing up votes cast across the eleven local government areas, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu secured an overwhelming 450,516 votes, while Mr Stanley Osifo recorded zero votes.”

Governor Inuwa Yahaya said the outcome of the primary election sends a strong message that the people of Gombe State are united, resolute and fully committed to the continuity of the Tinubu administration beyond 2027.

He emphasized that the unprecedented support recorded during the exercise is an induction of total acceptance of President Tinubu’s leadership style and developmental strides across the country.

“I am speaking not in my capacity as Governor, but as the duly appointed Collation Officer for the APC Presidential Primaries in Gombe State. I will proceed to Abuja to officially submit the results to the party’s national secretariat,” he added.

The Governor used the occasion to praise APC stakeholders, electoral officials, security agencies, the media and party supporters for ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the exercise across the state.

In his remarks, the Gombe State Chairman of the APC, Mr. Mohammed Dantata Ndus, described the exercise as historic and a major milestone in the party’s march towards victory in the 2027 general elections.

According to him, the peaceful and successful conduct of the primary election further proves that the APC in Gombe State is united under purposeful and visionary leadership of Governor Inuwa Yahaya.

He expressed confidence that the overwhelming endorsement of President Tinubu by APC members across the state would translate into massive electoral victory for the party in 2027.

The APC chairman also congratulated all party flag-bearers who emerged victorious in the primaries and appealed to those who could not secure tickets to join hands with the party leadership in the collective quest for APC’s success at the polls.

The collation process was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), led by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Umar Mukhtar Gajiram, alongside heads of security agencies, election observers and members of the media.

Also present at the event were the APC governorship candidate, Dr Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, senatorial and House of Representatives candidates, as well as senior party figures and key stakeholders.
