* Commends Stakeholders, Party Leaders
The Member representing Mashi/Dutsi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Salisu Majigiri, has applauded the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, for providing purposeful and people-oriented leadership, noting that the state is witnessing unprecedented progress under his administration.
Majigiri also commended political stakeholders in Katsina State for their unity, cooperation, and commitment to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking with journalists yesterday at the Government House, Katsina, the lawmaker expressed appreciation to party stakeholders, leaders, and members of the business community for the successful conduct of the recent party primaries.
He disclosed that the bill seeking the establishment of a School of Nursing and Midwifery has made significant legislative progress and is currently before the Senate for concurrence.
According to him, the proposed bill has already passed its first, second, and third readings in the House of Representatives.
“We are determined, as representatives of the people, to sponsor more bills and motions that will directly impact the lives of our constituents and accelerate development across the state,” he stated.
Majigiri reaffirmed the commitment of both serving members and newly-emerged APC candidates to initiate impactful legislation that will bring development closer to the grassroots.
He described the consensus arrangement adopted by the APC in Katsina State as one of the most peaceful and well-coordinated political processes in the country, attributing the success to the inclusive and strategic leadership style of Governor Radda.
“The unity and peaceful conduct witnessed during the political process clearly reflect the Governor’s leadership capacity and his commitment to stability and progress in Katsina State,” Majigiri added.
He called on the people of the state to remain steadfast, loyal, and supportive of the APC-led administration at all levels to sustain and expand the dividends of democracy.
Also speaking, the APC candidate for Daura/Sandamu/Mai’adua Federal Constituency, Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, pledged to prioritise agriculture as a key driver of employment, particularly for the youth in the constituency.
Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, who holds the traditional title of Danmadamin Daura, appealed to the electorate for continued prayers and support.
He also reaffirmed his determination to sponsor legislative initiatives that will accelerate socio-economic development in his constituency and across Katsina State.
